Clear Cache in the Amazon Music App

Resolve intermittent app performance issues.

Android and Fire Tablets
  1. Open the Amazon Music app.
  2. Tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Choose Settings from the list that appears.
  4. Scroll down to the Storage section.
  5. Tap on Clear Cache.

Amazon Music for PC and Mac

There are three different ways to refresh data.
  1. Sign Out and Sign In to the Amazon Music app to enable a library resync and refresh data.
  2. Remove the Data folder that is in the following locations:
    1. Windows: Click the start menu and in the search box type: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Amazon Music\Data and hit enter.
    2. Mac: In Finder, type shift-command-g to open "go to folder" window and type: ~/Library/Application Support/Amazon Music/Data
  3. Go to Profile > Preferences > Advanced > Reload My Music? and click on Start Reload.


There is no option to clear all caches on iOS devices.

Try clearing lyrics and image caches to resolve your issue:
  1. Open from a web browser on iOS/iPadOS.
  2. Select Clear Lyrics.
  3. Select Clear image cache.
