How Does the Amazon Music Explicit Filter Work?

The explicit filter blocks Amazon Music songs containing common explicit words and phrases.

Music can contain a mature theme while not containing explicit lyrics, and it isn’t deemed "Explicit."

This setting does not bleep out or remove explicit lyrics from within a song. The song is prevented from playback. It is a default setting on kids' labeled Alexa-enabled devices.
