The following information is provided on how to request a tax refund.
To request a tax refund, please contact Customer Service with a detailed request from the e-mail address associated with the account after the order has been delivered. Include any supporting tax exemption documentation for the state or US territory to which your shipment was delivered. Please provide the documentation in PDF file format, as Customer Service is unable to open any documents that are not in PDF format.
After the order has been delivered successfully, send any required documentation from the account that placed the order along with the following information to email@example.com:
Upon verification of the document, we'll process the tax refund. Please note that tax refunds cannot be issued until your shipment is delivered successfully.
Note: Our agreement with non-FBA sellers in certain states does not permit Amazon to process tax only refunds on their behalf. However, you can contact the seller directly for a tax refund. To learn more, visit Tax on Items Sold by Sellers on Amazon.
